Sorry, but I honestly don’t know. I’ve never had a girlfriend before. :) But based from seeing it in other relationships, I think your boyfriend/girlfriend should notice that you are insecure regardless of what you do. I mean, the two of you are in a relationship. One should get the signal in one way or another. Sorry if that doesn’t help. I can’t exactly advise you if I’ve never experienced it in the first place. :)
